2002年、ADELAIDEの姉妹店として神宮前にADDITION ADELAIDEをオープン。世界各都市からのセレクトをベースに、トレンドに左右される事なく、より個性的な服を提案するブランド・デザイナーを展開。“希少価値の追求、アートとの融合、ユニセックスとユーティリティ”をキーワードにした新しい形のセレクトショップ。全ては共同作業（コラボレーション）のうえに成り立っているという信念のもと、多方面にわたる才能やアイディア、そしてエネルギーが私共に加わり、それぞれの価値観のもとでクリエイティブの終わりなき可能性にチャレンジし、スタートした。

白い壁にメタルラックが並ぶミニマムなショップスペースは、現代美術家のエリザベス・クレセヴァ－（山海塾のステージなども手掛けるコンテンポラリーアーティスト）によるデザイン。これはADDITIONの求める可能性のひとつに、服を購入するという場というだけでなくその空間をも大切にしていきたいというショップ作りがある。これらコンセプトの全ては、“ADDITION”（加える）という名に表現された。

2004年、ADDITION ADELAIDEに増築フロアーをオープン。このフロアーの空間プロデュースを英デザインチーム“Postnormal”のスティーブ・リドバリーが担当し、フロアーの中心となる“MOBILE”インスタレーションをBLESSが担当。ハイクリエーションを目指すアーティストのコラボレーションによって、“新しい価値観―ユニセックス、美意識のプログレス”を基本とした私達のコンセプトは進化し、また常に新鮮で独自のマーケットを展開する。

ADELAIDE’S sister shop, ADDITION ADELAIDE, has opened on July 31st, 2002. From high-end, avant-garde brands to young, edgy, upcoming designers, we feature pieces selected from the leading cities around the world – London, New York, Paris and Tokyo.

We’re trying to maintain our shop as a gallery rather than just a boutique and are trying to represent the fusion of art & fashion through having creative designers in various fields.

We have selected a broad range of brands and designers who offer their individualistic apparel, unbound to any trend but focused on their own styles and origins.  We carry high end brands like “Balenciaga”, “Ann Demeulemeester”, “Raf Simons” and “BLESS”, at the same time we’re introducing some works by cutting edge artists like “KITSUNE”.

Our first Men’s collection was featured last year and an additional Men’s Floor was opened on September 9th, 2004.

The Shop’s Concept:
The entire concept is expressed in the name ADDITION (to add).  We began from different perspectives with the desire to add our own talents, ideas and energy.  We continue to seek new potentialities together, based on our sense of values.

The Interior Design:
The minimally-designed shop of metallic racks aligned against white walls is by the contemporary artist Elizabeth Creseveur, who has also been designing for Sankaijuku stages and working on various other projects.  The New Men’s floor was produced by Steve Lidbery from Postnormal and the central mobile was designed by BLESS.
